Settling In

Did you ever notice how snow before Christmas is soft and beautiful while snow after Christmas is the aggravating cause of sore backs, wet socks and slippery roads?  Or maybe it is me.

Before we make that big emotional turn let’s have another minute of the pretty stuff.  The amazing, swirling snow that carries us to another world. Softening the sound of train whistles and punctuating the call of the geese.

This one is short, just over a minute.  I was in kind of a hurry to go back to disliking snow.  But for a few seconds even I can be caught up in the swirl of it all.  With luck it will take you back as well.  Happy New Year.

Mother Nature didn’t help you much on this blog. She needed to give you bigger flakes.

    • Mother Nature did fine. The compression software is what failed. A little snow was lost in the camera, a little more was lost in my computer then You Tube took a couple of flakes when they recompressed it for their site.

It is the only post I wish I could take back. Not even sure why I put it up other than the clock on the wall said it was time. Hopefully the future holds better decisions on my part.
