It’s the Lot

The drive between Provence and Dordogne is not short.  A late start means spending a night en route.

In our case at Figeac,  a town whose time at the center of the universe ended six hundred years ago.  Though, I will attest to the existence of a great Boulanger near the lower church.

The hotel and breakfast combination set us up for a drive along the Lot River Valley.  Where SlowTV passed right over our heads.

Those of you clicking in for a travelogue shouldn’t feel betrayed.  This is the kind of scene people wander France to find.

I offer it without time lapse or sound sweetening.  Take a minute and a half to idle with us by the side of the river Lot. This is SlowTV at it’s best.

    Now, that’s Slow TV!!!
Nice scenery; nice cloud shadows drifting across the farm field; nice lazy river (do I hear the Mills Brothers in the background?); nice pastoral sound track.
