Laura’s Whales

Recently, I asked a friend to subscribe.   The request was met with the the question, “Are there whales on the blog?”.  Sadly, there were not.  I thought it a lost opportunity.  My mistake.  My friend’s email address popped onto the subscription list last week.  Ever eager to impress a dear friend I can now announce, there are whales on the blog.  This band takes requests.

Several years ago we were on a cruise with friends sailing along the entrance to the Sea of Cortez.  We were there to see the great whales and maybe pet one or two.  The friends were good, the weather perfect and the sunsets inspiring.  Before it was over several members of our band actually got to pet a California Grey Whale.  Nice.

All of the clips in this two minute and eleven second movie were taken on the same very nice day.  It was early days for the camera and whales popping up in every direction was a distraction/blessing.  But I think I can get you there.

Please join me now for a brief visit to a place where you could spend a lot of time.  For some of you this will be a fond memory.  For others, an inspiration to visit.  In Laura’s case, way of saying thank you.

If this is your first visit go ahead and hit the subscribe button at the top of the post.
