The Other Bridge

As it happens we took two cameras to the vista point on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge.  Which allowed us to set this camera on the San Francisco waterfront and the Bay Bridge while the other was taking the video we watched last week.  It was a lot to ask.  The waterfront is five miles away, the bridge even further.

In one sense it was more than the lens adapter could handle.  The opening shot is not crisp.  But it is colorful.  As day changes to night it gets even more so.  Eventually the lights of the Bay Bridge flicker on.  At first they share the scene with the iconic Coit tower.  Gradually dominating the picture as the evening wears on.

This two minute movie is the short version of a beautiful ten minute shot.  If you are a subscriber who would like to see the entire shot let me know.  Eventually I will need to figure out how to distribute larger files and this would be a fine start.

Please join me once again up on that chilly vista point as  San Francisco changes from day to night.  Thanks for watching.
