Further South

There is a song about why God made Mexico.  Beaches and beer get a lot of attention.  It doesn’t spend a lot of time on sunsets.  Clearly an oversight on the part of the song writer, not God.

Several years ago we went down the Baja Peninsula to pet the whales.  Not at all sure why they put up with it.  A mystery that adds to the fascination.  After a day of that magic it is tempting to think the best is over as soon as you get back to the ship.  That may not be the case.

While Karen was changing for dinner I stepped out of the cabin and into the last magical moment of the day.  Please join me on deck for a two minute goodbye to a wonderful day in Mexico.  The tourists and the birds are all heading home for the evening while we ogle the beauty and watch them go.

This clip was sent to You Tube in HD and if you have the computer and the connection to play it back that way the reward will be yours.  Of course it looks pretty good in standard definition as well.  Try it both ways and see for yourself.  The number in the bottom corner of the You Tube screen is the one to adjust.  Enjoy.
